Creating a website is easier than ever. With WordPress, AI coding tools, and affordable hosting, almost anyone can launch a website today.

But simply creating a website is not enough.

The real challenge is finding the right opportunity, choosing a good niche, getting the website discovered on Google, building useful content, attracting visitors, and eventually turning that traffic into revenue.

That is exactly what I cover in my Free Tool Website Creation Course.

In this course, I show the complete process I follow to research, create, optimize, launch, and grow a tool website. The goal is not to teach only website development. I want to show you the complete journey from finding an opportunity to building a website that has the potential to generate income.

What This Course Is About

If you already know what a tool website is, you do not need another basic explanation.

Instead, this course focuses on the practical process behind building one.

We start with keyword research to find opportunities, select a suitable niche, choose a domain, create the website, optimize it for search engines, connect Google services, publish supporting content, build backlinks, and prepare the website for monetization.

The complete process looks like this:

Keyword Research โ†’ Niche Selection โ†’ Domain โ†’ Website โ†’ SEO โ†’ Google โ†’ Content โ†’ Backlinks โ†’ Traffic โ†’ Monetization

I have designed the course so you can follow the same process step by step while building your own project.

Why I Believe Tool Websites Have Strong Potential

A useful tool can solve a specific problem for thousands or even millions of people.

People search Google every day for calculators, converters, PDF tools, image tools, generators, checkers, SEO tools, text tools, and many other utilities.

A single useful tool can also become the foundation of a larger website.

For example, instead of building only one calculator, you can create several related calculators and organize them into categories. You can then add useful articles, guides, FAQs, and other supporting tools.

This creates more pages that can potentially target different search queries.

The important point is that the opportunity does not come simply from having a tool. The website needs to solve a real problem, provide a good user experience, and be properly optimized and promoted.

How I Research Tool Website Opportunities

How I Research Tool Website Opportunities

The first major step in the course is keyword research.

I use keyword research platforms such as Semrush and Ahrefs to discover what people are searching for.

We can start with broad tool-related terms such as:

  • Calculator
  • PDF
  • Image
  • Converter
  • Generator
  • Checker
  • SEO
  • Percentage
  • Text

From there, we explore related keywords and filter the research based on keyword difficulty.

One of the filters I use during the research process is KD 0โ€“29.

The purpose is to discover keywords that may have a more realistic opportunity for a new or smaller website.

However, keyword difficulty alone does not guarantee rankings. We still need to examine the search results, competition, search intent, and the overall opportunity before selecting the final idea.

The goal is to collect potential keywords and then identify the strongest group of related keywords that can become a website.

Choosing Between a Single-Tool and Multi-Tool Website

Once the keyword research is complete, the next decision is the type of website to build.

There are mainly two approaches.

A single-tool website focuses heavily on one particular tool or problem.

For example, a website such as markspercentagecalculator.online is focused around a specific calculator.

The second approach is a multi-tool website.

A multi-tool website can focus on a broader category such as SEO tools, PDF tools, image tools, calculators, or other related utilities.

Websites such as SEOTools.com or ToolsGrove.com demonstrate the broader multi-tool approach.

Both models can work for different situations.

A single-tool website allows you to focus deeply on one problem, while a multi-tool website gives you more room to target related keywords and expand the website over time.

Choosing the Right Domain

After selecting the niche, we need a domain.

For a single-tool website, an exact-match or highly relevant domain can be considered when appropriate.

For example, a website focused on a specific calculator may use a domain closely related to that calculator.

For a multi-tool website, you can use a brand name or a broader category-based name such as an SEO tools or PDF tools brand.

The domain should also be easy to remember, easy to type, and suitable for the future direction of the website.

Creating the Website With WordPress or AI

After purchasing the domain, the main challenge is creating the actual website.

Today, you have several options.

You can build with WordPress, use AI development platforms such as Antigravity or Lovable, or build the project with AI-assisted coding.

In my course, I focus on showing a practical and free approach.

I will show you how to create a tool website in WordPress using AI without relying on paid plugins or paid themes.

If you want to learn more about building websites, software, and web applications with AI, I also have my Complete AI Website & Software Development Live Class Recording, where I show how AI can be used to create working digital products.

You can learn more about it here:

Optimizing the Website for SEO

Once the website is created, we need to make sure search engines can properly understand it.

In the course, I use the Rank Math SEO plugin for the SEO setup.

We go through the important SEO settings and then optimize the actual website.

This includes things such as page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, tool pages, technical SEO, and other important on-page elements.

SEO is not simply about installing an SEO plugin.

The actual pages need to be useful, properly structured, technically accessible, and relevant to the search intent.

Connecting Google Search Console and Analytics

After the website and SEO setup are ready, we connect the website with Google’s tools.

I use the Site Kit by Google plugin to connect the website with Google services such as Search Console and Analytics.

This gives us a way to monitor how the website is performing.

Search Console can help us understand search impressions, clicks, queries, and indexing information, while Analytics provides additional information about visitors and website usage.

Once these systems are connected, we have a much better foundation for monitoring the website.

Adding More Tools and Useful Content

Creating the main tool is only the beginning.

Next, we need to expand the website with related tools and useful content.

If your main website focuses on calculators, for example, you can research and add other relevant calculator tools.

You can also create articles, guides, FAQs, tutorials, and other useful resources around the same topic.

This gives the website more opportunities to appear for related searches.

Useful content can also support monetization through advertising platforms such as Google AdSense, provided the website meets the relevant requirements and policies.

Building Backlinks

After technical SEO, on-page SEO, content, and website structure are in place, backlinks become another important part of the process.

There are different ways to approach backlink building.

If you have enough time, you can research opportunities and create relevant do-follow backlinks manually.

You can also use backlink services or software.

One software option I discuss is Money Robot, which can be used for automated backlink building and may provide a trial depending on its current terms.

However, automated or low-quality backlinks should not be treated as a guaranteed ranking method.

Relevance, quality, and a natural overall link profile are important.

The Final Website Validation

This is one of the most important parts of the course.

Many people can create a website.

The bigger challenge is creating a website with a strong enough foundation to compete in search results.

Before expecting meaningful results, I recommend checking the complete website.

Look at the domain.

Check whether the website has enough useful pages.

Check the tools, categories, and articles.

Check whether the pages are indexed.

Check the website speed.

Test it on mobile and desktop.

Check technical SEO.

Check on-page SEO.

Check internal linking.

Check content quality.

Check backlinks and overall website authority.

A useful target during the initial development stage is to build a substantial website with around 30 or more genuinely useful pages, including tools, categories, and articles where relevant.

The important point is quality.

Do not create dozens of thin pages simply to increase the page count.

Can a Tool Website Make Money?

Yes, a tool website can be monetized in several ways.

Advertising is one option, including Google AdSense when the website qualifies and is approved.

Other possibilities include affiliate marketing, premium features, subscriptions, lead generation, digital products, or other relevant offers.

The actual earning potential depends on the niche, traffic, country, user intent, advertising rates, monetization model, and how well the website converts visitors.

There is no fixed amount that every tool website will earn.

The goal of the course is to show you how to build the foundation that gives your website a genuine opportunity to generate traffic and revenue.

Start Building Your Own Tool Website

The biggest mistake is spending months watching tutorials without actually building anything.

You do not need to start with a massive platform.

Start with one researched opportunity.

Find the keywords.

Choose the niche.

Buy the domain.

Build the website.

Optimize it.

Connect Google.

Add useful tools and content.

Build relevant backlinks.

Monitor the data.

Improve the website.

Then keep expanding.

That is the complete process I teach in my Free Tool Website Creation Course.

If you follow the tutorial carefully and actually implement what I show, you will have a clear roadmap for building and developing your own tool website.

Learn the process. Build the website. Test the opportunity. Keep improving.
